Unknown Mami

On the first Friday night of every month my town has a little shindig they call the First Friday Art Walk.

The art galleries, museum, and several shops stay open later.  There is always a band or two playing, a car show,  and inflatables for the kids.

The weather was gorgeous this weekend so we headed out and about.

We love the museum. The family membership is only $60 a year and includes free admission to 300 museums around the country.

The bongo player is my pastor. Yes, they’re playing rock music.

Yes, I do attend the coolest church ever.

On Saturday we bought our pumpkins, gourds, and straw. We spent the evening trying to get our fodder stalk to stand up and decorating the yard.

What did you do this weekend? Does it feel like Fall in your neck of the woods?

  1. Hmm…my weekends consist of cleaning and football games. Nothing too exciting. Supposedly my town has some interesting things that happen but they never promote them so you never know about them. Stupid Toledo aka Detroit 2.0!

  2. I love you have pictures :) , that museum package sounds wonderful!!

Sounds like so much fun decorating the house, I should do that.

Ok I want to go to your church!!! Rock and Roll I’m in, I don’t think I could see my pastor playing with the band … hehe

It feels like the apocalypse, because we are being rained to death. It will be all gone soon, I’m sure.

Our neighboring city does stuff all the time too. It’s fun and all down the main street. This reminded of it. Very cool.
